Mount Hood also drawn as Elevation Profiles
Mount Hood — the terrain itself, banded into ribbons.
Every band on this print is a real contour interval of Mount Hood, Oregon. Alternating ink and cream, the landform reads as a folded ribbon rather than a map: smooth volcanic flanks fall into clean parallel waves, while the broken ground gathers into something closer to marble. Nothing here is invented — it is the mountain's own shape, drawn at full bleed with no text at all.
- Giclee print on enhanced matte fine-art paper (200gsm), archival pigment inks
- Built from Copernicus GLO-90 elevation data
- Full bleed, no caption — an abstract piece that happens to be true
